Hi, I’m Kate. I’m starting this blog for myself because there’s a lot going on in my 20s. I moved to the city, bought my first home, and got married — to name a few. I love to travel, but I also love the little life I’ve built in Pittsburgh with my husband, Alex. It’s been home for the past 10 years, but it hasn’t always been. I grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere (we only had one stoplight), and ever since I’ve left, I’ve never stopped exploring. Whether it’s a new Mexican restaurant nearby — we seldom eat anything but tacos and queso — or halfway across the world, I’m drawn to discovering new things. We also spend a fair amount of time making our house a home and I want to document those moments, too. Adulting is hard, but it’s also full of adventure, so I hope you find joy in a post or peace in knowing you aren’t the only couple who remodeled your kitchen and had to replace the floor three times before it was finished (I can’t make this shit up).
